And you thought only the Irish knew how to party–try the Poles for a change

March 8th, 2011

Polish spring festivals can be raucous events.  The Cleveland Polish community is giving us a conservative taste of these celebrations on Sunday, March 20, 2011, starting at 2 PM.

Parking on the grounds and in the neighborhood around St. Stanislaus can be tight so show up early.

Promises to be a special treat.  And its free!  Click on the PDF file link below for more information.

Chopin at Severance for the Polish Cultural Garden–Monday, February 14th, 2011

January 17th, 2011

If you missed Ms. Mitsuko Uchida’s performance in the Polish Cultural Garden this past fall, don’t miss this extended reprise.  Ms. Uchida wow’d everyone present.

The Polish Cultural Garden brings her back for an extended performance of Chopin, Beethoveen and Schumann piano pieces in a jewel of a setting at Severance Hall.

The underwriting by the Garden makes this event, at $15 excluding parking, a remarkable bargain.  All the more so since it includes coffee and desserts.

Click on brochure link before for details:
