Highlighting Individual Garden and Community Websites

March 11th, 2009 | Post Author: Erin Bell

We’ve recently added links to two websites that are maintained by individual garden delegates.

The first is for the Hungarian Cultural Garden. Lel Somogyi of the Hungarian Garden has put together a great site with news, events and history pertaining to that garden, and has even posted a full oral history interview about the Cultural Gardens (conducted by the Cleveland State University Dept. of History). You can find the link on the Hungarian Garden page of this site, or visit: hungarianculturalgarden.org

The next site, for the Cleveland Slovenian Community, is maintained by Tim Percic and Phil Hrvatin of the Slovenian Cultural Garden delegation. The site contains news, events, photo galleries, community bulletins, and an impressive list of resources for Slovenian-Americans living in the Cleveland area. Link from the Slovenian Garden page of this site or visit: www.clevelandslovenian.com

We will post more websites, both in the news section of this site, and on relevant garden pages, as they are developed.

Great point. We take all of our updates directly from the Cultural Garden Federation. Please let them know about your event, and/or contact us directly (with all the text and relevant information). We will post directly.

      Thanks
