Six Heritage Pillars Dedicated in the India Garden

On May 26, 2007, six Heritage Pillars were dedicated at the India Cultural Garden. The Pillars represent the culture and history of India. Each of the Pillars has an inscription that highlights a particular theme. Quotations from Albert Einstein, Jawaharlal Nehru, Martin Luther King and Rabindranath Tagore are inscribed on the top of four of the pillars, and each pillar possesses a narrative on its front face with further details about the particular theme. The themes represented by the pillars are: Universal Brotherhood, Legacy, Leadership, Artistic Traditions, Modern Inda, and Connections.

Hungarian Garden Fundraiser

In 1938, that the Hungarian Cultural Garden was officially dedicated and efforts are underway to renovate the garden.

On August 24, 2008, the Hungarian Cultural Garden Delegation will rededicate the Garden, celebrating its 70th Anniversary, building on activities schedule all summer, and which began with a Blooms & Blossoms fundraising dinner on May 31, 2008.
